In fact, we don’t know exactly where Coconut Shrimp originated, it is suspected to have evolved from the world's tropical coasts of Southeast Asia where there an abundance of both shrimp and coconuts
You can add mushrooms, spinach, squash, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, diced ginger and served over salmon and rice for making tastier and amazing.

  1. First heat a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Sauté the onions and peppers until tender. Add the garlic and spices to cook for 30 seconds longer.
  2. Add the shrimp (do consider the sizes) to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes, or until almost pink through. The shrimp will finish cooking in the sauce.
  3. Add the coconut milk, diced tomatoes, and basil. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the lime juice and sriracha to taste.
